About Jenn
I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology through the University of Saskatchewan in 2004, followed by a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Regina in 2006. After practicing in various medical and mental health settings, I went back to school and completed my Masters of Social Work though Dalhousie University in 2015. Since then, I have been working in mental health settings, both directly providing client care as well as supervising multi-disciplinary teams. I begin teaching with the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina in the summer of 2024.

I have received additional training in many therapeutic modalities, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Motivational Interviewing
Narrative Therapy
Strengths Based & Solution Focused Interventions.

I am qualified to support clients with many different mental health challenges, and have a particular interest in issues related to trauma in childhood. I have completed my Phase I Certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics through the Child Trauma Academy based out of Houston, Texas.
